Derrick Broughton, is the Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) of Broughton Commercial Cleaning, LLC. Also, he is the Co-Founder, of Commercial Cleaning Entrepreneurs, LLC. He started his cleaning career in 1982 and joined the United States Navy.
He was aboard a Navy Ship where cleanliness was a top priority. After serving in the United States Navy, for his country over four years of active duty, he was awarded an Honorable Discharge.
Then, he decided to return to his native hometown in Atlanta, Georgia and his vision and goal was to pursue a higher education with a focus in business.
He has over 25 years and counting in the Commercial Cleaning Industry which includes, Project Management, Proposal Writing, Sales and Marketing and Quality Control Training.
Prior to starting Broughton Commercial Cleaning, LLC, he worked with several cleaning companies in the Metro-Atlanta area. He was employed with B & B services from 1990-1997.
He was responsible for closing a quarter of a Million-Dollar contract with the Grady Health System, which consisted of 16 health facilities. While with B & B, he joined and collaborated with another local firm to take advantage of the huge demand for cleaning services and as a result they were awarded a Half-A-Million Dollar contract during the 1996 United States Olympics, held in Atlanta, Georgia.
The cleaning contract provided hotel-motel style accommodations using college campuses to temporarily house dignitaries and their families. Both cleaning companies were responsible for cleaning 5,000 rooms daily.
He worked for Ultimate Cleaning Services from 1997-2000, whose primary services where Bank Vault Cleaning and Commercial Cleaning. While employed at Ultimate Cleaning Services, they were one of the primary companies selected to pioneer the cleaning of Automated Teller Machines (ATM). Ultimate Cleaning Serviced over 8,000 ATM machines quarterly, spanning Georgia, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
He, founded Broughton Commercial Cleaning, LLC, which was formally Maintenance Solutions in 2000 which is a commercial and industrial cleaning company that specializes in office cleaning, carpet cleaning, construction cleanup, pressure washing, window cleaning, floor care and rest-room sanitation.
He is responsible for Marketing, Contract Negotiation, and Operations. Broughton Commercial Cleaning, LLC, has a very diverse clientele, which consist of small and large companies throughout the Metro Atlanta area. In his spare time, he enjoys educating new entrepreneurs about the Commercial Cleaning Industry. For fun, he loves playing golf.
